Northern Iron Rule (NIR)

The Northern Iron Rule took power from the Nordholm royal family in 1956 and collapsed during the civil war in 2022. Individuals and small groups from its former government and military remain in the countryside, towns and neighbouring countries. They wear red armbands, red vehicle flags and NIR patches, which other factions may take as souvenirs. Game control mainly uses NIR as an NPC faction for missions and the story.
